Here are some more Sun(flower)glasses. You know my future is so bright, I've gotta wear shades. I usually only wear these when I'm seeding or watching TV.
This is terrific, Paul. YOU are worked all over the canvas/page. Intense energy of vision on a raw blackened face. When your inner psyche comes out, your art is at its best. Keep tapping into your..soul?...emotions?...fantasies? Hmmm...
This picture is amazing: I see rain, and darkness! The reflection of the sunflowers on the glasses suggest an antithesis - darkness/light from the Sun. The lack of facial form reminds me of someone who doesn't want to be seen, like a shadow: it's there but it's not! However we know somebody is there because of the glasses!
Since the background is dark, is he really looking at sunflowers? Or is he gazing at the object of his love who, in his eyes, is a flower and brought light into his heart (thus the sunflowers)?
It is a marvellous picture: congratulations! It makes ones imagination runnnnnn.....

The picture stuns me. The impact engenders from the colour, giving an impact of strong emotion and presence. A really nice thread. Added the thread

Great sunflower! Love the contrast of the balck with the bright colors of the sunflower!
Lovely to see a Libran being true to their artistic self - I love your glasses (I need a pair for the world).
Gorgeous.
