Chain my wall.

Inspired by the work of...some random graffiti artist.
Oh, and the wall is taken from my back yard.

In the zone. Transit of Planet Ball!
"You and me at the tennis court, the sky is blue above.
"I serve the ball from me to you, I guess the score is LOVE. (SS)

Graffiti Solar System.

Graffiti font = Zenith.
I created the image below by drawing the symbols or glyphs on paper then I scanned it and converted it into negative, finally adding labels.

These planetary symbols are all made up of similar features or elements. Circle, dot, semicircle, cross in different combinations. The circle represents eternity, without end and the spirit. The dot inside a circle represents the spirit or the power coming out. The cross is the material world and the semicircle is the soul.

These symbols of the planets are linked with early types of graphical communication, they remind me of the symbols used in aboriginal art.

Graffiti aperture or oculus.

Images of graffiti sprayed upon an urban backdrop of concrete, displayed in the stairwell of a road bridge, spanning shipping, were captured by my digital camera.
I have caught the light cascading through the convergence of the open ribcage and the next level of the stairwell.

Graffiti Sunset.

This image was captured in February 2007.
My Grandfather, William, A.K.A., 'Billy the Red' was a Japanese Prisoner of War.
Whilst captive, the only things that kept him sane were the amazing sunsets he witnessed.
I only met him a handful of times and I still wonder if my infatuation with all things astronomical stems from his experiences.

No Fun?

Graffiti on wall by canal.
Confused? I am!
Is it a political statement?
Is it an invitation?
Is it desperation?
Surely there is no fun in no fun.
Am I wrong?

Graffiti Moon.1

I went cycling this morning, on the same route again. The Moon was visible in the morning sky, I was amazed when I arrived at the scene of the crime. The real Moon, and the graffiti 'MOON' in the same shot. 9.43am

Graffiti Moon.

Look at this graffiti. What a liberty. I spotted this while I was out cycling today, daubed on a concrete motorway bridge. MOON? Is it a tag, a message, or a statement?

If it's a tag, it's a new one, I've not seen one like this before.

If it's a message, it's a short one, surely coded?

I think it could be a statement. And, the Moon has just been full, a lunar eclipse no less. (Tuesday.) The graffiti artist must have been prowling the concourses of the night and a glimpse of the Moon in all it's fullness, was surely his or her inspiration. I like it.
