I love these photos. When I was growing up on a farm in rural Missouri, there was a sunflower field next to ours. I would sneak over there at night all the time and write, or draw, or take photos, or just listen to music.
I loved it. Something about the contrast of the bright cheeriness of flowers versus the deep black of the night is eery, beautiful, and intense.

Spooky and lovely--flowers at midnight. Nobody ever goes out to look at the flowers after dark. Why not?
